Why use Deans connectors as uposed to the tamiya, is there any benefit to having Deans connectors in your replica?

Dean connectors as you have most likely have seen, are in the shape of solid metal rectangles. Because of this it has more surface area that is nice and tight when connected to your battery, this lowers the resistance of the electricity. This allows for less energy to be lost in the connection, through this a deans will last longer as well.

The Tamiya connectors are a bit more loose, they do not fit as snug as deans do. This allows for more resistance, and in some cases, a small amount of arching. If a small amount of arching does occur this fouls your plugs sooner and they start to fail on you.

Both connectors work but with Deans you get a better transition of power.

Some people have seen an increase of ROF, I tested it and there is a minimal change, you can see the slight increase in fps and rof down below.
